"Find what fulfills you – and live by it." – A guiding principle that each of us should embrace in order to live a fulfilled and self-determined life. Yet many of us feel far from it, driven by external expectations and the influence of others. Fulfillment, however, already lies within us – we only need to recognize and embrace it. This insight applies to all areas of life, including our careers.

As a trained biologist, my research focused on the complex interactions between living beings and their environment: How are things connected? What do we need in order to live? Which relationships shape our actions and our well-being? For me, recognizing these interconnections is the key to a fulfilled life. Yet it is often difficult to understand which experiences and patterns from our own biography truly lead us to happiness and contentment.

Together with you, I help uncover your personal key. Whether it is about your philosophy of life, private matters, or your professional path – each person needs time to discover what truly fulfills them and defines who they are. Finding yourself is the true key to happiness. And even if it may not always seem so, each of us has a “red thread” running through our lives. Becoming aware of this red thread opens the door to a meaningful and fulfilling life.

My personal focus is on recognizing interconnections – whether in biology, in coaching, or in working with people. In every field, it is about seeing connections and understanding what emerges from them. With this awareness, your own path becomes visible, and new insights can be integrated into daily life.

Through my training in systemic coaching and change management, I was able to deepen my knowledge and expand my expertise. Further positions followed in qualification and professional development for researchers, including at TU Dortmund and as the head of a graduate school at the University of Hamburg.

Since 2018, I have also been working as a freelance coach and trainer, supporting people in finding and pursuing their individual career paths.

  • 2023 – present: Coordinator of the UniWinD Postdoc Support Network

  • 2021 – present: Head of the School of Integrated Climate and Earth System Sciences, University of Hamburg
